ENGINES THAT ARE OPTIMIZED FOR FUEL EFFICIENCY.
Throughout the PACCAR line of engines, powertrain and fuel system components have been optimized to maximize fuel efficiency. Through sophisticated high pressure common rail fuel injection, we can achieve 36,000 psi at the injection tip, which allows for excellent fuel atomization and combustion, delivering excellent fuel economy and low emissions. In addition, the use of copper zeolite as the wash coat on the SCR after-treatment results in greater emission control efficiencies and lower fuel consumption.
