Throughout the PACCAR line of engines, powertrain and fuel system components have been optimized to maximize fuel efficiency. Through sophisticated unit injection pumps with high pressure injection, we can achieve 36,000 psi at the injector tip, which allows for excellent fuel atomization and combustion, delivering superior fuel economy and low emissions. In addition, the use of copper zeolite as the wash coat on the SCR after-treatment results in greater emission control efficiencies and lower fuel consumption.
