PACCAR Engine Plant Columbus, Mississippi
Coming on-line in 2010, the new PACCAR engine plant features state-of-the-art CNC tooling in both machining and assembly processes. This provides extremely close tolerances in all operations and results in reliable, long lasting engines with industry leading design life.
PACCAR Technical Center in Washington State
Built on 242 acres of land with 125,000 sq.ft. of laboratory space, the PACCAR Technical Center is an outstanding facility to test engine and vehicle integration. A high speed test track as well as a durability test track allows PACCAR to thoroughly evaluate components and systems. Engine and vehicle testing can take place 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to speed product development and system integration.
Extensive MX Testing
The MX engine has undergone over 300,000 hours of lab testing and 50 million miles of real-world work has been accumulated with MX engines in North America. PACCAR has tested the MX engine in all types of applications, climate conditions, and operations.
Manufacturing in Eindhoven, Netherlands
PACCAR also manufactures engines in a high capacity, modern facility in Eindhoven, Netherlands and operates test tracks in Europe and the United States.
